Committees

The work of Student Government extends to every part of campus, and our reach is evident in the work that’s being accomplished on each of our committees. Most committees are filled in early Fall Quarter through as shown in the open section of the website.

They include:

Annual Allocations:
Allocates $400,000+ in Student Activities Fee funding to RSOs for the upcoming academic year

Coalition of Academic Teams (CAT):
Allocates funding to the 6 members of the Coalition of Academic Teams

Committee on Recognized Student Organizations (CORSO):
reviews applications for new RSOs, holds annual RSO Fair in Winter, holds annual RSO Awards

Community Service Fund (CSF)
Reviews budgets of RSOs interested in doing community service work

Elections and Rules (E&R):
Runs the Spring Student Government elections

Student Government Finance Committee (SGFC):
Reviews budgets for RSOs applying for funding throughout the year

Program Coordinating Council (PCC):
Reviews annual budget for the seven RSOs that make up PCC

Sports Fund:
Reviews budgets of the 60 sports clubs RSOs

Uncommon Fund:
Reviews budgets for uncommon, innovative, and impactful in Winter quarter

Campus Dialogue Fund (CDF):
Reviews budgets that encourage dialogue on campus about social justice, oppression, human and civil rights

Campus Dining Advisory Board (CDAB):
provides oversight and student response for the quality and structure of the Campus Dining Services

Committee on Crime Prevention and Security on Campus and in the Neighborhood:
advises on matters that may impact the safety of members of the University community or their property

Independent Review Committee for the UCPD:
review complaints against UCPD relating to issues of excessive force, violation of rights, or abusive language

IT Advisory Board (ITAB):
provide forum for students to share their thoughts and ideas about the way information technology is implemented

Inter-House Council (IHC):
represents undergraduate population living in the housing system on dining, housing, and transportation

Logan Art Center Advisory Committee:
discuss engagement opportunities between Logan and students and events they’re putting on

Office of Multicultural Student Affairs Advisory Board (OMSA):
discuss problems/issues currently facing students of color and needs, advise OMSA on areas of programming

Transportation and Security Advisory Board (TSAB):
provides a channel for students to continually evaluate campus transportation and security systems
